Dan Pryor has broad experience in real estate investing and bulge-bracket investment banking. He managed and repositioned a mixed-asset real estate portfolio with properties located primarily in Arizona, Texas, and the New York metropolitan area delivering to Investors an IRR of 34%, net of corporate costs. Mr. Pryor’s conservative investment style served Investors extremely well during the April 2004 – December 2006 time period when he managed a diversified real estate portfolio. While he evaluated asset acquisitions during this time period, he correctly reasoned that pricing in the commercial real estate industry was generally well in excess of intrinsic value and recommended in September 2005 the sale of the portfolio. Mr. Pryor also has extensive institutional financial experience as an investment banker with Lehman Brothers and Citigroup. As a corporate finance investment banker for 11 years, he initiated and completed many capital markets transactions including public and private equity and debt offerings in the U.S. and Europe. Mr. Pryor, a graduate of Yale University (1993), was a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU’s Schack Institute for Real Estate in the university’s Master’s Degree program, where he taught real estate finance and valuation. Mr. Pryor is on the Board of Directors of the Historic Odessa Foundation and the Jerry Garcia Foundation.
